Congratulations to Shaanvi Singh who won the Newlands Primary School Citizenship Award for 2023. Shaanvi was nominated by her peers for this award as she is a great example of what we nurture in a Newlands Primary School citizen. Shaanvi shows excellent leadership, and willingly assists with classroom and school-wide responsibilities. As well as being a calming presence and positive role model, she is also a risk taker who continually pushes herself outside of her comfort zone and always gives her best. We are very proud of Shaanvi and wish her all the best for the future. Thanks to the Rotary Club of Johnsonville who sponsor and organise these awards.
